United States Senators Catherine Cortez Masto (D-NV) and Katie Britt (R-AL) have introduced the Space Superiority Readiness Act, a bipartisan legislative effort to harden American orbital infrastructure. According to Payload, the bill follows a high-level delegation to Greenland’s Pituffik Space Base, where lawmakers reviewed current missile-warning protocols and Space Force capabilities.

The legislation demands a significant expansion in Space Force training architecture. It directs the Department of Defense to scale up wargaming, modeling, and simulation specifically focused on high-intensity conflict with near-peer adversaries.
