Tactical Lab Integration: BMC3I Announces Cohort 26.A Participants
Catalyst Campus and the BMC3I TAP Lab have finalized the selection of six Focus Area Cohort Teams (FACTs) to tackle critical defense and mission-focused challenges in Stage 0 development.

Catalyst Campus for Technology and Innovation, operating in conjunction with the BMC3I TAP Lab, has officially selected the participating Focus Area Cohort Teams (FACTs) for Cohort 26.A Stage 0. According to SpaceNews, the selection follows a rigorous competitive evaluation aimed at identifying synergistic technology clusters capable of addressing high-priority government mission requirements.
Six distinct FACTs have been activated. These teams represent a convergence of industry incumbents and emerging innovators, structured to pool technical capabilities for collaborative problem-solving. The roster includes:
- Team 1: Astra Ultra, GRVTY, Leidos, ColliMate Space, Paper Boat Systems.
- Team 2: Data Fusion &, Aloha Autonomy, Stottler Henke Associates Inc.
- Team 3: Stellerian, APTOS Orbital, SimDynamX, MetroStar.
- Team 4: ColliMate Space, Pulsar Space Systems, Infinity Labs, Lockheed Martin.
- Team 5: Citra Space Corporation, Bluestaq.
- Team 6: Orbitswarm, Stellerian, Blacknight Space LLC.
OPERATIONAL OBJECTIVES
The BMC3I TAP Lab provides the structural framework necessary for these companies to synchronize their solutions with specific defense innovation ecosystems. During the Stage 0 phase, participants will undergo focused programming involving direct engagement with government subject matter experts and technical leaders.
The primary goal of this initiative is to refine technological alignment with emerging mission challenges. Successful navigation of Stage 0 facilitates the bridge between civilian innovation and mission-critical hardware, potentially leading to participation in Stage 1. Catalyst Campus serves as the primary tech scout and facilitator, ensuring that these collaborative entities can navigate the complexities of defense procurement and mission architecture.
