Segment Breakdown
Connectivity (Starlink): The primary revenue engine now accounts for 55% of total income. Starlink generated $4.3B, with operating income climbing 79% to $1.7B. While subscriber counts doubled to 12M, average revenue per user (ARPU) dropped to $66 due to aggressive expansion into lower-priced global markets. Government and enterprise sectors showed significant strength, particularly through the Starshield network, which secured over $6B in new contracts.
Space (Launch): Launch revenue rose 29% to $962M, even with a lower flight volume (78 launches vs. 84 in the prior year). Financials were weighed down by a $1.1B R&D spend, largely dedicated to Starship development.
