Seraphim Space Trust Value Surges to £605.5M as Infrastructure Bets Mature
Seraphim Space Investment Trust ($SSIT) has doubled its valuation in just twelve months, reaching £605.5M in FY26 driven by the rise of satellite neo-primes and massive European defense contracts.

DATA OVERVIEW: PORTFOLIO SURGE
Seraphim Space Investment Trust ($SSIT) has released its FY26 financial results, reporting a valuation of £605.5M (€716.3M). This represents a 100% increase over its June 2025 baseline. According to Payload, the growth is anchored by a core group of five holdings—ICEYE, ALL.SPACE, D-Orbit, HawkEye 360, and Xona Space Systems—which currently account for over 75% of the total portfolio value.
THE ICEYE MULTIPLIER
Finnish SAR specialist ICEYE remains the primary driver of $SSIT’s success, constituting 54% of the portfolio. The firm has transitioned into a "neo-prime" role, recently securing a €1.7B contract with the German Bundeswehr and completing a €450M Series F funding round at a €10B valuation. A new partnership with Nokia for secure government satcom further cements its status as a critical infrastructure provider.
ANALYTICS AND METRICS
CEO Mark Boggett notes that the rally is supported by hard operational data. The top 10 portfolio companies reported a 237% revenue growth year-over-year, accompanied by a 50% increase in total headcount. Seraphim’s strategy avoids volatile launch markets in favor of vertically integrated, IP-protected digital infrastructure.
STRATEGIC OUTLOOK
Looking ahead, the trust is shifting focus toward orbital manufacturing and frontier technologies. Targets include space-based quantum computing, nuclear power, robotics, and biotech. As satellite density is projected to hit 100,000 units by 2030, Seraphim aims to scale its assets under management to lead increasingly large funding rounds for the next generation of space-based mobile networks and critical pipelines.
