Mission Readiness: Prime Pathfinder

Quantum Space, LLC has formalized a work order with All Points Logistics to initiate launch campaign processing for the Prime mission. According to SpaceNews, the agreement represents a critical operational shift as the mission moves from design into the hardware integration and execution phase.

Prime serves as the inaugural pathfinder for the company’s Ranger and Scout platforms. These high-performance, maneuverable spacecraft are designed for dynamic orbital operations, serving both national security and commercial sectors. The mission’s primary objectives include evaluating spacecraft maneuverability, payload hosting capabilities, and sensor-driven data collection.

Tactical Infrastructure

Under the newly executed agreement, All Points Logistics will provide technical oversight at Vandenberg Space Force Base in California. The scope of work includes:
Specialized clean-room facility access.
Propellant servicing and hazardous operations support.
Safety reviews and ground support logistics.
Final transport to the launch vehicle integration site.

Timeline to Orbit

Quantum Space recently completed its Systems Integration Review, clearing the path for a targeted launch in the second half of 2027. This partnership leverages an existing Master Services Agreement, specifically securing the ground-side logistics required to mitigate execution risk during the final integration window.

Quantum Space President Kerry Wisnosky emphasized that the agreement secures the specialized personnel and infrastructure necessary to transition the spacecraft from the laboratory to the launch pad. With the ground processing logistics now finalized, the Company is shifting focus toward completing the environmental test campaign and final spacecraft assembly.
