Munich-Based deltaVision Scales Infrastructure for Orbital Refueling
German component specialist deltaVision secures 10.2 million euros to industrialize valve production and develop interoperable in-orbit refueling systems.

German propulsion component specialist deltaVision has finalized a 10.2 million euro ($11.6 million) funding round to escalate the production of critical valving systems. According to SpaceNews, the round was led by KT Ventures and Valemount Capital, with participation from Futury Capital.
HARDWARE SCALING
The capital injection targets a production capacity of 5,000 units annually. Operating out of a former Siemens facility in Munich, deltaVision is positioning itself as a high-volume provider in a market currently throttled by supply chain bottlenecks. The company’s roster currently includes over 60 clients, ranging from aerospace primes to government agencies, and spans critical projects such as the European Space Agency’s Argonaut lunar lander.
STRATEGIC OBJECTIVE: IN-ORBIT LOGISTICS
While currently focused on propulsion control, deltaVision’s roadmap points toward an interoperable technology stack for in-orbit refueling. CEO Alex Plebuch emphasized an "open and interoperable" ecosystem for orbital services, rejecting closed architectures in favor of a modular approach to increase overall market scalability.
OPERATIONS STATUS
Despite only launching in 2022, deltaVision reports consistent profitability. The current expansion includes the establishment of a French subsidiary to diversify its manufacturing footprint. Investors noted that the firm represents a stable, profitable business model capitalizing on the "enormous tailwinds" of the commercialized space sector.
