HYIMPULSE INJECTS €50M INTO LAUNCH VEHICLE DEVELOPMENT
German launch startup HyImpulse has expanded its Series A funding round by over €50 million, securing critical capital for the upcoming SR75 and SL1 flight campaigns.

DATA TRANSMISSION: CAPEX EXPANSION
German-based launch provider HyImpulse has confirmed a significant extension of its Series A funding round, securing an additional €50 million in capital. This surge brings the firm’s total funding to €125 million, according to European Spaceflight. The extension, co-led by German venture capital firm JOIN Capital and Israeli-based Ace Capital Partners, highlights growing investor confidence in hybrid propulsion technologies.
MISSION PROFILE
This fresh liquidity is earmarked for the rapid commercialization and development of the company’s dual-track launch portfolio. Following an initial €15 million raise in October 2025, the total Series A equity now exceeds €65 million. The operational focus shifts immediately to two primary hardware targets:
1. SR75 Suborbital Rocket: Preparation for the vehicle's second flight campaign.
2. SL1 Orbital Rocket: Acceleration toward the inaugural orbital launch attempt.
TECHNICAL STATUS
HyImpulse utilizes a unique paraffin-based hybrid propulsion system, designed to offer a safer and more cost-efficient alternative to traditional liquid or solid-fueled boosters. The company states this capital injection will specifically accelerate the transition from experimental testing to commercial mission availability. By securing new backing from Ace Capital Partners—specialists in aerospace and defense—HyImpulse gains strategic alignment with institutional investors focused on high-stakes sovereign launch capabilities.
With the European micro-launcher market reaching high levels of saturation, this €125 million total war chest positions HyImpulse as a lead contender in the race to provide reliable, low-cost access to Low Earth Orbit (LEO).
