Specifically, it will analyze the kinetic deflection results following NASA's DART mission, which previously impacted the moonlet Dimorphos. - Orbital Mechanics: The trajectory and rendezvous logistics with the binary asteroid system.
- Scientific Payloads: Data regarding the Milani and Juventas CubeSats, which will deploy from the main craft to perform close-proximity gravity field measurements.
- Planetary Defense: Detailed analysis of how kinetic impactors can be used to alter asteroid courses for future Earth-protection scenarios.
