EnduroSat Secures $205M to Scale Satellite Industrialization
Bulgarian manufacturer EnduroSat has raised $205M to expand manufacturing to the U.S. and secure a 24-satellite bus contract for Vantor’s Pulse constellation.
# SCALE UP: EnduroSat Industrialization Phase
Sofia-based EnduroSat has announced a $205 million funding round aimed at scaling standardized satellite production and extending its geographic footprint. According to Payload, the round was co-led by Riot Ventures and Atreides Management, supported by a heavy-hitting roster including Google Ventures, Founders Fund, and the European Innovation Council.
Industrial Expansion
This capital injection targets two primary infrastructure objectives:
1. U.S. Manufacturing: Establishing a domestic production presence in the United States.
2. European Defense Hub: Constructing the EU’s largest defense-focused space facility, augmenting their existing 188,000 sq. ft. Sofia Space Center, which aims for a throughput of two satellites per day.
This funding marks a significant moment for the European ecosystem, following nine-figure rounds by Open Cosmos and The Exploration Company. The capital will also enable EnduroSat to shift production toward larger spacecraft classes.
Operational Wins
Parallel to the raise, EnduroSat secured a Tier-1 manufacturing contract. Vantor has selected the company to provide satellite buses for its Pulse constellation, a 24-satellite Earth Observation (EO) array. CACI will provide the 40-cm imaging payloads for the fleet, which is designed to provide high-cadence 15-minute revisits.
With backlog demand surging, EnduroSat’s pivot from boutique manufacturing to high-rate industrialization appears fully capitalized. The influx of venture capital reinforces a trend of strategic infrastructure development within the European space sector as firms transition to larger, defense-grade platforms.
