FINANCING AND LOGISTICS
While the LUVMI (Lunar Volatiles Mobile Instrumentation) series originally matured through public funding—including support from the European Union, the European Space Agency (ESA), and the Belgian Science Policy Office—the upcoming lunar transit is a private venture. The company confirmed that the mission is being financed through payload reservations and operational service contracts rather than government grants.
OPERATIONAL PARAMETERS
The LUVMI-M rover is designed for high-mobility reconnaissance on the lunar surface.
