STRATEGIC REINFORCEMENT

Colorado-based Agile Space Industries has announced a significant expansion of its executive and advisory tiers. According to SpaceNews, the firm has appointed Jake Mills as Chief Technology Officer and Mark Pasquale as an independent member of the Board of Directors. The move follows a period of rapid infrastructure growth for Agile as it attempts to capture increasing demand for high-performance chemical propulsion.

TECHNICAL OVERHAUL

Mills, a space industry veteran with two decades of experience, transitions into the CTO role to oversee all engineering output and long-term product roadmaps. His background includes high-level stints at Blue Origin and Florida Turbine Technologies. At Blue Origin specifically, Mills was integral to turbomachinery development and served as a Capsule Communicator (CapCom) for New Shepard missions. His dual expertise in hardware scale-up and mission operations is expected to streamline Agile’s delivery of customer-focused propulsion systems.

GOVERNANCE AND SCALE

Simultaneously, the addition of Mark Pasquale to the board introduces significant institutional knowledge. With 40 years of experience, including senior executive leadership at Lockheed Martin, Pasquale has managed aerospace programs valued in the billions. His presence is intended to provide the organizational maturity required as Agile transitions from a specialized manufacturer to a high-volume hardware provider.

Agile CEO Chris Pearson stated that the appointments are critical for advancing the company’s technology portfolio. As the space economy moves toward more frequent orbital maneuvering and lunar logistics, Agile is positioning itself as a core hardware reliable through technical innovation and operational rigor.
