AGILE SPACE INDUSTRIES ESTABLISHES NEW ENGINEERING HUB IN BELLEVUE
Agile Space Industries expands its footprint into the Seattle aerospace corridor, opening a new Bellevue office to house engineering leadership and tap into local technical talent.

OPERATIONS UPDATE: SEATTLE EXPANSION
BELLEVUE, WASH. — Agile Space Industries, the chemical propulsion specialist, has officially expanded its operational footprint into the Seattle metropolitan area. The company has inaugurated a new 5,470-square-foot facility at Sunset North in Bellevue, Washington, aimed at centralizing high-level engineering and program management.
According to SpaceNews, the office will initially host seven personnel, including Chief Technology Officer Jake Mills. The facility is designed for rapid scaling, with an ultimate capacity for approximately 30 employees as Agile ramps up its regional presence.
STRATEGIC ALIGNMENT
The move is a tactical play to leverage the Pacific Northwest’s high concentration of aerospace expertise. "Establishing a presence here allows us to tap into that expertise, strengthen industry relationships and build on the capabilities we’re developing," stated CTO Jake Mills. The Bellevue hub will focus on the delivery of advanced propulsion systems for both government and commercial sectors, bridging the gap between design and flight-qualified hardware.
MISSION PROFILE
Agile’s current portfolio encompasses the full development cycle: additive manufacturing, rapid prototyping, and in-house testing. The Bellevue site joins a distributed network of operations that includes the corporate headquarters in Durango, Colorado, as well as facilities in Pennsylvania and Oklahoma. By embedding itself within the Seattle ecosystem, Agile gains direct proximity to key industry partners and an established investor base.
The expansion signifies a continued push toward the next generation of in-space maneuvering systems, providing the technical infrastructure required to support increasingly complex mission requirements.
